Why You Should Try Jicama!

I am obsessed with adding jicama to my salads especially after learning about its many health benefits. Jicama is a root vegetable native to Mexico that can be found in many large grocery stores. Toss it with your salad to add crunch and extra vitamins!





Health Benefits

  • high in fiber

  • contains antioxidants

  • Vitamins C and B-6

  • heart healthy

  • prebiotic

  • helps with hydration


Tips for Use

  • Wash and peel with vegetable peeler and cut into thin strips

  • Store unpeeled jicama unwrapped in a cool dry place for 2-3 weeks

  • Wrap peeled jicama tightly and keep in refrigerator for up to a week
